Foreign competitor checklist
The owner/handler must be a member of a club or a national canine organization affiliated to the FCI
The handler must have the right to compete in his/her home country.
You need to have a license or a record/competition book or another document to prove the handler's right to compete in his/her home country
Competing in the Finnish XS (under 28 cm) category, requires a measurement result written in cm/inch to your document
If you think your dog is under 28 cm, and don't have a written measurement stating the fact, your dog must be measured by a Finnish judge
Other FCI height categories compete in their corresponding Finnish height categories
Intermediates compete in the SL category
FCI S/M/L categories are the same as Finnish national S/M/L
Dog must have a document stating their assigned FCI category or measurement result
Dogs without any written measurement results must always be measured by a Finnish judge before they are eligible to compete
A foreign competitor must always prove his/her identity, if he/she doesn't have a Finnish licence
A dog must have a record book (or similar document) confirmed by a national canine organization (to write the Finnish results into)
If you don't have a document, one can be confirmed on site by a Finnish judge. The price for a Finnish record book is 4€, which can be paid on site
